We send emails and other communications (like push notifications or SMS campaigns if they've opted in) to residents for a variety of reasons. Here are a few examples:
- Updater invite: The Updater invite explains how helpful Updater will be during the stressful process of moving and lets them know how to activate their account. It's triggered only after a resident signs a lease, and happens automatically through Updater's integration with your property management software.
- Transactional email: If a resident completes a step in Updater, like forwarding their mail, we send them a confirmation to let them know.
- Helpful reminders: These emails keep residents engaged and on track for their move by gently reminding them of time-sensitive tasks they need to complete.
