Managing future residents and keeping them on track for their move-in date is simple in Updater. There are 3 key steps that the leasing team will be responsible for in Updater:
- Set move-in costs in Updater as soon as a lease is approved to ensure Welcome Letter details are accurate.

Make sure your future resident receives their Welcome Letter Invite. Welcome Letters are automatically sent 5 days after lease approval, but if you complete move-in costs and want to send the Welcome Letter manually, you can do so in a few ways:
Option 1: From the Residents tab, find the resident’s name and click Send invite now in the Onsite team action column.
Option 2: From the Residents tab, click on the resident’s name to open the resident details page. Scroll down to Email invite section and click Send invite now.
Option 3: From the Daily Task's tab, click on Invite tasks and then click on Send invite. Find the resident's name and click Send invite now in the Action column.
- Monitor resident progress and complete outstanding on-site team actions from the Resident tab. For submissions that require your approval such as proof of insurance, make sure to review approve, or deny these submissions within 48 hours of resident submission to keep the move on track.
