There are two options for pet registration. One is integrated in Updater and the other links out with PetScreening®. Only one of the two options can be active at one time.
How to set up the integrated pet registration
- Log into Updater
- Click on Settings
- Click on Properties
- Click on the Property you want to set up
- Click on Task configuration located underneath your property name
- Scroll down the page until you find Pet registration
- If this task has not been set up, click the Toggle to the right of Pet registration. If this task already has been set up, click Edit.
- Select the permitted number of pets
- Type in Directions for the resident
- Click Save changes
How to set up pet registration with PetScreening®

- Log into Updater
- Click on Settings
- Click on Properties

- If this task has not been set up, click the Toggle to the right of Pet registration. If this task already has been set up, click Edit.
- Type in Directions and add in link if appropriate for the resident
- Click Save changes
Note: If your resident has an emotional support animal, they will be required to provide proof by uploading a letter written by a licensed professional.
