How to set up vehicle registration

How to set up Vehicle Registration

1. Log into Updater
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Properties
4. Click on the Property you want to configure
5. Click on Task configuration located underneath your property name
6. Scroll down the page until you find the Vehicle registration task
7. If this task has not been set up, click the Toggle to the right of Vehicle registration. If this task already has been set up, click Edit.
8. Select how your residents will register their vehicle(s)
   • 3rd party vehicle registration portal
     • Type in the URL residents need to go to in order to register their vehicle(s)
     • Type in Directions that your residents will need to know in order to register their vehicle(s) with your property
     • Click Submit
   • In-app vehicle registration
     • Select the maximum number of vehicles that can be registered to a unit
     • Click the Toggle on to require residents to submit make/model/year/color if required
     • Type in Directions that your residents will need to know in order to register their vehicle with your property
     • Click Submit

And that's it! When your resident submits their vehicle details through Updater, the details will automatically sync with your PMS system.
